I have been doing a lot of deeper personal development over the past few months while based in Australia. Being away from my crazy London life, having the beach so close by, the sounds of nature outside my window all the time, it’s been a lot easier for me to align with what I want to do.
My life keeps changing, organically evolving and taking me on a journey where each day brings me an unexpected beautiful surprises. I have big desires for this year. I say desires as I just read the ‘Desire Map’ by Danielle La Porte. It took a good 2 months to get through it as it’s not just a book, it’s also a workbook. By the end of it you have core desires you can use as a compass for where you want to go. It’s very empowering!
Greens Balance Smoothie time!
I want to share something really exciting with you which is helping me help people to easily get on the path of health and wellness. It’s a ‘Greens Balance’ powder that is easily accessible, affordable and tastes great in smoothies or juices! Yesterday I posted a picture of me with the giant clever I use to open my coconuts with (one of my friend’s thought it was scary, I was trying to be funny – fail?). Thai Young Coconut Tip: Use the back of the spoon to get the flesh out and always have a giant cleaver handy!
The Greens Balance…
Not only does this mean I can have greens and can stay healthy wherever I am in the world (so I don’t have to figure out what plugs I need for the juice or blender) but you can too! This green stuff delivers an omega-3 seed blend from chia, flax and quinoa. It contains so many nutrients including carotenoids like alpha- and beta-carotene in yellow fruits and vegetables, anthocyanidins in blues, lycopene in reds, and sulforaphane in cruciferous vegetables like kale and broccoli. If I was to type out all the ingredients in this ‘green balance’ the blog would be way too long. You get the picture – it’s good! and you know how I like to say drink a rainbow of colour – well now you can easily in a gluten-free way that supports your gut.
The Green’s Balance Smoothie Recipe
- 1 flesh from a thai green coconut
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 scoop greens balance (contact me below to get 20%-35% off a tub)
- 1 TBP chia seeds
- 1 small frozen banana
- Goji berries
- x2 Pulp from passionfruit
Super easy right? As the greens powder has so much good stuff in it I didn’t feel I needed to add much more to my smoothie. I would love to share this with you and I’ve been thinking it’s easy for me to just post a link, but I want more for you. I want to let you know why this is good for you and how you can use it so going forward you have an amazing tool you can use rather than you just buying it because I said so.
