I love drinking a rainbow of colour as well as eating it, and this Orange Twist Juice is just divine! Sometimes you need to change it up from having just the green stuff. I like to keep it exciting with an array of flavours, juicing what’s in season and trying out new combinations. I find juicing a bit like cooking, sometimes things go together really well and other times it a bit of a fail. When it’s good I like to share the recipe with all of you, saving you the juice disaster mish mash. The secret I think is to keep it simple, taste a bit add a bit more until it’s how you like it! It’s easy when you first start juicing to get a bit overwhelmed by all the choices and adding in everything, only to discover it doesn’t work.
Better than store bought, not from concentrate, this orange twist juice is great for those mornings when you know you’re going to be moving your body, as the sugar in the oranges and carrots will give you a boost of energy, while the apple cider vinegar will level out your sugar spike. But that’s not all as the lemon and fennel will help support your digestive system, while giving the juice a nice kick.
This juice is also great for your skin as carrots contain powerful antioxidants called carotenoids, which themselves contain beta-carotene. Beta-carotene is then converted into vitamin A in the body, which is essential for supporting your vision, skin, healthy bone growth and your immune system. Oranges and lemons are also among the best sources of skin-supporting vitamin C. This antioxidant vitamin is needed by your body to make collagen, which is an essential part of the connective tissue that keeps skin from sagging. Did you hear that ladies? Yip beauty starts from the inside!
