The Match Tea Challenge
If you follow my Empowered Women’s Channel you will see we have a 14 day Matcha Tea challenge giveaway that ends this Friday 14th April. I have been drinking this wonderful superfood latte every morning for a few weeks now, wow it’s so awesome. I have been switching it up, as I have been having my green juice in the evening and this supercharged Matcha tea latte in the morning (after drinking a litre of water of course). I have found I am less hungry, have a ton of energy to make my workouts count and feel like I have gone through a detox.

What I noticed since adding in Matcha Tea?
I have found I am less hungry, have a ton of energy to make my workouts count and feel like I have gone through a detox. Yes, I am constantly detoxing it’s just become a way of life because of all the toxins that surround us! It’s so hard to explain to people how good you can feel when you have the right nutrients to energise your system.
What is Matcha Tea?
It is made from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant and unlike traditional green tea, matcha is using all the components from the leaves infused into the hot water. With matcha, you’re drinking the actual leaves which have been grounded down into a fine powder, it’s pure nutrition in a teacup.
Not only that the colour of Matcha Green Tea Powder is a beautiful green (my favourite colour) but it has many health benefits too! I’ve been testing out this recipe of mine with different kinds of milk from hemp, coconut and hazelnut and the verdict is all taste great with it!
Do you like it?
I think Matcha is amazing and definitely keeps you supercharged if me waking at 4am to start my day every morning is anything to go by! I going to be putting this matcha powder to the test and working on a few recipes at the moment as green is after all my favourite colour!
Why drink it in a beautiful mug or bowl?
It makes it more special and honours the occasion as the plant has travelled a long way and been on a journey to get to you. By preparing matcha this way it’s calming and centring letting you take in the beauty of the moment.
I also make sure I always use spring water whenever I make and drink it in silence or focused on the taste and flavour.
